Course Description:
Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene is critical in aged care, where individuals are particularly vulnerable to foodborne illness. Research shows that many outbreaks in care settings are linked to unsafe food handling and poor hygiene practices. This course equips Australian aged care workers with the knowledge and practical skills to safely prepare, handle, and store food in line with regulatory requirements, organisational policies, and best practice guidelines.
