Course Description:
Recognise the different forms of epilepsy and associated types of seizures and the ways they may affect a person and their care. Describes practical ways that working as a multi-disciplinary team can support a person living with the condition.
Learning Outcomes:
After completing this course, participants should be able to:
- Describe epilepsy as a disorder and the different types of seizures people experience
- Identify the ways epilepsy may affect a person
- Understand management of seizures including first aid
- Describe practical ways that a multidisciplinary team can support a person living with epilepsy
