Clinical Assessment: The Cardiopulmonary System
This course will provide you with the skills required to obtain person's thorough medical history and to conduct a cardiopulmonary assessment.
After viewing the course participants should be able to:
- Outline how to obtain a comprehensive history before assessment
- Conduct a cardiopulmonary assessment including: preparing for the assessment including equipment, hand hygiene, positioning of the person, and preparing the environment, inspection, palpation, auscultation, percussion, completion of the assessment including cleaning and replacing equipment, documentation and reporting of assessment findings
