ACFI: Improving Your Documentation - Update
The Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) is used in residential aged care to appropriately allocate funding resources based on the care needs of each resident. By completing this course, you will learn about the Instrument and how to complete ACFI documentation to enable accurate claims.
A case study is used to apply the ACFI documentation requirements to a resident’s assessed care needs. The course also identifies the common errors that can be made when completing ACFI documentation.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the Aged Care Funding Instrument’s three domains
- Describe the process for completing the ACFI documentation
- Identify common errors that may lead to an inaccurate claim
